Beat 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of white sugar, 1 cup of butter. Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Then add 2.25 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon
Fold in 2.25 cups of quick cooking oats, then add 5oz dark chocolate chips and a handful of raisins or dried cranberries. Chill for a few min then preheat the oven to 375. Scoop balls of dough onto parchment-paper-covered baking sheets. Bake for ~12 min. Makes ~24 cookies.
